Crocodile Palace at The Little Fleet is one of the szechuan & hunan listed in Traverse City, Michigan. The business is registered at 448 E Front St, Traverse City, MI 49686; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Traverse City; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Michigan are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 4–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Crocodile Palace at The Little Fleet at (231) 421-3555; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is crocodilepalace.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 275 reviews, which is a strong result for a szechuan in Traverse City and suggests consistent service.

Traverse City is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Traffic in Traverse City peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Originally from Chengdu (Sichuan) and usually when you are from a place you are a bit protective of the originality of the food and skeptical of someone who tries to fusion your food. But this place is a very pleasant surprise. Tried most of the things in the menu (we came back a second time). Their cold noodles and crispy pork are great. So is Dan Dan noodle and the cucumber salad (a bit American twist for the salad). Cabbage salad leans Thai/Vietnam and is nice. The fried chicken has the Sichuan pepper twist and may be a change for US audience. Overall, it blends flavors of Asia and America very well. The place we thought was a sit-down restaurant, but is actually in a beer garden/food court so expect that it can get a little hot and crowded. But you got exciting crowds here to watch the games when they are on. Recommend the food and the vibe

Hands down! One of the best surprising places to get sichuan food. The Dan Dan noodles and the cold noodles were phenomenal. The place is bustling, hippie, street style and everything a modern pop up should look like.

The Little Fleet is a super cool place! It’s basically just one area with some indoor and outdoor seating and they have a variety of food trucks, a bar, and Crocodile Palace. It’s a super cool place and there’s pretty much a food option for everyone. While here, I went to Crocodile Palace and they had some great options. I love spice so I went with the Dan Dan Noodles. The Dan Dan Noodles were great, but they definitely were very spicy. I would probably say these noodles were the hottest food I’ve had. The Dan Dan Noodles had solid flavor but also a lot of heat. I have a high tolerance for spice but I would say that these gave me a run for my money. If you love high spice, give these a try. If you’re more of a mild or even medium, I’d say stay away haha. The Dan Dan Noodles are great but they’re very spicy so just be aware!

We ordered takeout and were blown away by how delicious everything was. We tried the wontons, chicken wings, pork belly, Dan Dan noodles, rice, and a side of chili oilβ€”and I’d recommend every single item. The chicken wings remained crispy even after bringing them home and were not that spicy (at least for us). I just wish we lived closer, so we could order more regularly. Absolute chef's kiss!

I was craving Asian or Middle Eastern food and decided to give Crocodile Palace a try. BEST DECISION EVER! We ordered the crispy pork, grilled & chilled romaine, and pork dumplings. Everything was perfect; delicious, fresh, bold, and with generous portions. This protein, vegetable, and appetizer fed two adults and we could barely finish it all. The pork could not have been more perfectly done, the dumplings were sumptuous and wonderful, and the grilled & chilled romaine was astonishingly delicious (we actually fought over who would get the last bite!). It was all on the spicy side, but then again we did dump chili oil on every bite; it was fantastic! There is no seating in the restaurant and the outside tables were already taken so we grabbed some beverages from the convenience store next door and drove around the corner to the Civic Center & ate at a picnic table. It was a wonderful evening and I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Also the remodeled interior makes it look totally new & modern inside, a big improvement from before. Here are two tips that we'll remember for next time though: the crispy pork didn't come with rice, so be sure to order some on the side. Also
